28th May 2005 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: sw ish Wind Stength: 15 - 40 Surf / Sea State: flat ish Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: 32 mph (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 35mile (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Finaly got to brog about 12.30 after having do a run to Stansted then getting stuck in the traffic for the herts show. I was thinking that I was going to miss the wind as the forcast that I saw said it was going to drop by the afternoon, It didn't ! Spent all afternoon extremely powered up on 5.8, would of been better with 5.3 but it was at home a good place for it I was told! Wind was very gust but was having some good runs turning round at each end was bit of a hit and miss affair as the wind was all over the place at each end of the lake. As it was bank holiday quite a few people camped and stayed over night so a bbq lots of food and drink was consumed with some people only getting to bed as the sun was coming up! |
